Just.been: Tour de France

I managed to leave behind the horrid rain in England and escape to the beautiful French countryside for a week.
A relaxing holiday spent strolling through the trés jolie villages of Normandy.

La belle dame de bohème

As soon as I laid eyes on this beautiful lady, I was immediately transported back the turn of the 20th century. The time of the Moulin Rouge, full of alluring dancers. The bohemian artists, Toulouse Lautrec, Claude Monet and Edgar Degas. Bustles, lace and ladies with parasols promenading along the Parisian banks of the Seine.

Gowned in layers of delicate lace, pearls and flame red hair, she is a true bohemian of any era. A true artisan and couturier, she beautifully hand crafts all her unique dresses. Click here to view her wonderful creations.

Just.worn: Le Premier Look du Jour

Well... they say you gotta start somewhere, so here goes: The first look du jour.

You'll most likely find me sporting a pair of trainers more often than not. I love my kicks, so it is no suprise my wardrobe is overflowing with them and they find they way into many of my looks. These just happen to be one of my favourites, my metallic red and gold pair of Springcourts. I can honestly say I would live and die in these (ULTIMATE comfort kicks), however I am prevented from doing so as there are times when certain footwear etiquette must be adhered to, no matter how bling your kicks are! But for today at least I have teamed them with a pair of trusty American Apparel wet look leggings, a vintage silk leopard print top and a black silk scarf. With a little... well rather large religious relic that camouflages in far to well.

Just incase it gets a little chilly I've got my Turn Up The Style, Turn Down The Heat jumper which I customised at a Global Cool event last January. It was all about upstyling your boring knits and creating something that you just can't resist to cuddle up in. My look encapsulated something along the lines of the militant officer colliding with the marching band. I loved adding the heavily fringed epaulettes, they make such a statement. I now can't wait for the days its cold enough to flaunt my refashioned jumper.

Get ready for winter and get upstyling! If you don't know where to start, stylist Grace Woodward has more than a few inspiring tips on how to refashion your old winter jumper.
